Hi there! I’m Marissa Klymkiw.
You might be wondering about my last name – its pronounced like “klim-q” if you’re curious.
I am a Los Angeles area UX Designer who focuses on designing for people. While formally trained in design with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, as I gained more professional experience—I saw my work naturally transition to being more human-centered and data-informed. This helps me balance aesthetics with customer behavior and motivations, analytics, business objectives, KPIs, and more. My endless curiosity, empathy, out-of-the-box thinking, and interpersonal skills drive my design process.
Design has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, my life revolved around solving problems. My curiosity and drive to never stop learning led me to learn HTML/CSS as a teenager. These are valuable skills I still carry with me to this day, which make me a stronger UX designer who is better informed and understanding of technology.
If you are looking for a new designer on your team, a freelance project, or a consultation – feel free to contact me.
